9-meter “full deck” Classic or Special Version launch
Data sheet
The project stems from the need of a client with very limited mobility, not only to be able to board and move around in a wheelchair, but also to be able to steer the boat himself.
The boat is a generously sized launch, approximately 9 meters in length, featuring a full-deck deck, meaning no cockpit, which extends without steps or obstacles to the cabin access hatch under the deckhouse, where a platform/lift is mounted to allow wheelchair users to get on and off. In the Classic model, instead of a platform, the boat is equipped with comfortable steps.
The hull is planing and equipped with marked runners that ensure stability even at low speeds. The boat is propelled by a 270 HP FNM 30 engine, allowing it to reach a top speed of 24 knots and an economical cruising speed of 15–16 knots.
As with all CNT boats, the customer agrees with the shipyard on the required speed and fuel consumption during the operational requirements. The engine type suited to meeting these requirements will then be chosen from the design.
The hull is constructed of composite stripe planking (a core of solid wood slats covered both internally and externally with layers of epoxy-laminated fiberglass, providing a completely waterproof and durable structure).
The interiors can also be customized according to needs (number of berths, bathroom, and type of finishes).
An important feature is the transom, whose deck extends to create the beach area. In the special version (or upon request in the classic version), it features a movable section that descends down to and beyond (submerged) the water.
